window display area with astec b.1000
to separate the retail space from the window display area in the designer's house store in seoul, 8 glass door elements (thickness: 12 mm) and 2 wooden door elements (thickness: 45 mm) were installed on a 19-m-single-track guide rail of the astec sliding door fitting b.1000. the convenient running roller function is hidden in the floor – only the slim, shallow guide track is visible. precision bearings positioned along a guide rail in regular intervals ensure smooth, practically soundless sliding of the glass and wood elements and provide access to the window display area for decorating purposes and the like. fully relieving the ceiling of any weight, the flush-fitted retaining tracks in the ceiling guide the glass panels and prevent them from lifting out.
