private home:

sophisticated interior design with astec sliding door fittings b.700 and b.900

a red wooden sliding door provides access to the bedroom area in this 2015 private home. the concealed runners of the b.700 fitting on the backside of the wooden door as well as the vertically installed stainless steel track underscore the object’s minimalist style.

the connection from bedroom to bathroom is realized using the sliding door fitting b.900, another astec product formally reduced to the essential. fastening elements are not visible and all technical functions are integrated into the solid supporting rail.

mirrors installed on the astec sliding door fitting b.700 provide an elegant way to conceal the storage alcoves in the bathroom. the mirror can be moved at the touch of a finger to provide access to the storage room for cosmetic products, etc., in back.
