indoor swimming pool:
glass island realized with astec fitting b.510
the ismaning indoor swimming pool features a glass facade for maximum transparency. now, a glass cylinder was installed to house the supervisory staff. with a diameter of 3.3 m, this glass cylinder consists of 6 fixed glass elements and a door with skylight which is fastened to the side panels with straight brackets. this system was realized using astec's swinging door fitting b.510 with skylight and a slimlock stainless steel door lock. all fitting components were adapted to match the bend of the glass elements.
