former farmerhouse:
sleeping areas and washrooms with astec sliding door fitting b.1000 in a unique attic apartment
a unique and clever symbiosis of old and new. in the spacious, light-flooded attic of a former farmouse in burgdorf/switzerland, an attractive and modern apartment was built using exclusive materials. in addition to the open-floor dining and kitchen area, three bedrooms and two washrooms were integrated in a cubic design.
the front walls of these cubes are realized using satinized glass and are divided by fixed glazing and sliding elements using the astec b.1000. in the parental sleeping cube, the b.1000 was installed as part of a double-panel system with fixed glazing on either side. black (ev6) floor installation sets were selected for each of the modular cubes.
